FUEL CHARGES AND LANDING FEES
Aircraft hire rates are displayed on the aircraft's page. Fuel is included in these rates up to a maximum of $1.45 per litre. The aircraft hirer is responsible for any fuel purchases that are in excess of $1.45/l. Receipts are to be presented to the Treasurer and you will be re-credited for the first $1.45/l of any fuel that you purchased. If you use the Club Aircraft CARNET Card you are required to pay the difference between $1.45/l and the actual cost of the fuel. e.g. you took on 100l at YSCH @ $1.55/l. You should therefore add $10.00 ($1.55-$1.45=$0.10 x 100) to your payment.
Authorised visiting aircraft may purchase fuel at $1.50/l.
The aircraft hirer will also be debited for any landing or en-route charges that are incurred during the period of hire. Please ensure that you pay for these charges together with the aircraft hire payment.
